Who knew a nightmare could be this catchy? Buddy wanted the entire audience to join in on the madness. Buddy: The Sing-Along Version took over Glendale’s historic Alex Theatre for a sold-out night filled with creepy costumes, catchy songs, and plenty of wonderfully weird chaos. The traditional red carpet was replaced with an orange one as director Casper Kelly, members of the cast, and Buddy himself joined fans before the screening. Once the lights went out, lyrics appeared across the screen and the packed theater became part of Buddy’s twisted little world, singing along to the movie’s songs. It was creepy, chaotic, and strangely wholesome — exactly the kind of nightmare Buddy would want you to have.
